Most parents praise results and it's natural.

Results feels like proof that your child progressing.

But the quieter, deeper question is. Who is your child becoming.

The child who begins to trust their own voice, doesn't panic when something is difficult or who stays with a problem just a little longer.

These are the children who become confident adults.

These quiet layers in their personality doesn't show up in grades or rewarded, however these are often the reason those result improve over time.

Creativity plays an important role in this development, but not in the way usually understood by many parents.

It is not about creating an impressive masterpiece. It's about giving children space to create, to process, think and make meaning in their own way. over time, this shapes how they approach challenges. inside and outside the studio.

Children who are given that space develop a different kind of confidence. One that isn't dependent on constant validation.

So the next time your child create something, sit quietly next to them, not focusing on immediate results. but be aware of what is steadily taking root deep beyond it.

Because while results may open doors, it is that deeper confidence that allows your child to walk through them-and keep going.
