As a parents you know your children, each child has their own unique spark. sometimes loud, sometimes quiet. For your creative child, that spark shows up with endless questions, or ideas and imagination that seem to float everywhere.

As a parent, your role isn't to control the spark- it's give them room to grow.

Here are six simple ways to do that:

  1. Give space, not instructions- Let them choose their corner corner, tools, or notebook.

  2. Listen first, talk second- Ask questions instead of given directions.

  3. Celebrate efforts, not outcome- Praise trying, experiment, and risk-taking

  4. Blend art with real experience- Selling a drawing or presenting a project teaches confidence and persistence.

  5. Protect time to explore- Even 20 uninterrupted minutes a day matters.

  6. Show your own curiosity- Let them see you explore, fail, and wonder.

Supporting your creative child isn't about perfection. It's presence, patience and trust. small consistent gestures today can shape confident future visionaries tomorrow.
